We thought we existed. After thorough checking and double checking, the Internet Movie Database has recognized The Dropout for its short excerpt screening at the 2008 Ruff Cutz Film Festival. As Dropout writer Sam Lanckton remarked, "We're on IMDB, baby!" and now that we've got our own page, look for IMDB updates in the Spring of 2010. Special thanks to Without-A-Box.

At 00:00 on Thanksgiving Day, 2009 - Newton Studios acquired thedropout.com to shore up its web distribution channels for 2010 and beyond. Special thanks to our friend in Colorado for the heads up....the domain had been locked down by an Aussie domain co. for an entire decade.

THE DROPOUT GOES UNDERGROUND (AGAIN), NEWTON STUDIOS SIGNS OFF ON WALTHAM STUDIO THROUGH 2009

In continuing its preparation for the festival circuit, Newton Studios has entered the next round of post production and is seeking additiodal services for The Dropout.
Plans for 2009 include expansion of services to include film/video transfer as well as green screen studio rental. Minutes from downtown Moody St. in Waltham, look for our internship program beginning in Spring/Summer 2009.
THE DROPOUT EP2: DEAD END JOBZ SELECTED FOR RUFF CUTZ INDIE FILM CONFERENCE NOV. 14-16

A late deadline submission, short format version of THE DROPOUT has been selected for the Ruff Cutz Indie Film Conference at Boston University's Center for The Digital Arts in Waltham, MA. The film will be screened Saturday, 11/15, times TBA.
